The Complementary Plan in Applied Biotechnology for Health in Galicia was presented.

On June 28, the Complementary Plan in Applied Biotechnology for Health, part of the PERTE for Advanced Health of the Autonomous Community of Galicia, was presented at the City of Culture of Galicia in Santiago de Compostela.

The presentation event was attended by the Minister of Education and Science of Galicia, Román Rodríguez; the Commissioner of the PERTE for Advanced Health, Raquel Yotti; and the National and Galician Coordinator of the Complementary Plan in Applied Biotechnology for Health, Josep Samitier and Mabel Loza.

During the event, the projects generated in the various lines of action in which Galicia is involved in this Plan were presented.

Castilla-La Mancha participated through its coordinator for the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha within the Complementary Plan in Applied Biotechnology for Health, Valentín Ceña, who, together with Raquel Yotti, moderated the round table discussion on projects in Action Line 5: Development of nanodrugs, biodistribution, toxicity, and therapeutic actions in pathology models.

Additionally, the project for the construction of a public chemotheque in Spain was presented. Similar to those already existing in other countries, it will facilitate the early discovery of drugs in our country, involving stakeholders such as academia and pharmaceutical companies.
