The Director General of Universities, Research and Innovation of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha, Ricardo Cuevas, recently visited the facilities of the Neurodeath Associated Unit (UCLM-CSIC), located in the Faculty of Medicine – Pharmacology of Albacete, at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM).
During the visit, he was accompanied by the principal investigator of the project in Castilla-La Mancha, Valentín Ceña, and by the Vice-Rector for Research of the UCLM, Antonio Mas, who explained to Ricardo Cuevas the applications and utilities of the equipment, as well as the current state of development of the research project.
Featured resources include:
- The in vivo recording unit for small animals.
- The analytical unit of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.
Both units have received funds obtained within the Complementary Plan for Biotechnology Applied to Health (PCBAS) within the framework of the project: “Development of tools for diagnosis, prognosis and advanced or targeted therapies in personalized medicine”.
This visit highlights the institutional commitment to cutting-edge biomedical research and the strengthening of scientific infrastructures in Castilla-La Mancha.
